We have a combination of grizzly bears that inhabit our areas. In the southern Skeena area some of the bears have access to salmon for part of their diet, which attributes to their record size. The bears in the Spatsizi region obtain their large size by eating ungulates (moose, caribou, sheep and goats). Close to a quarter of their diet consists of meat. Record size boars are harvested in each concession squaring 8-9 ft and some obtaining over 9ft. The success is high on these hunts with very limited permits available.
Our 12-day Spring hunts include a black bear and wolf. Our 14-day Fall hunts are inclusive of a choice of moose, caribou or goat. Grizzly bear hunting can be dangerous and all guides use a back up firearm for safety.
