The majority of our black bear hunting is conducted in the Skeena area along the Babine river and tributaries where large populations of black bear reside. The majority of the hunting is done in the spring, by spot and stalk method. The average black bear harvested is approximately six feet and some seven feet have been taken. The thick coats on these bears are exceptional in relation to the bears closer to the coast where rubbed hides are a problem. Some brown to cinnamon color variations have been harvested and are available. You can harvest a second bear on our spring hunts for a harvest fee and licensed second tag. Our eight day spring bear hunts are conducted in May. You have a choice of 1-1 or 2-1 guide/hunter ratio. Our Spring bear hunts have a very high success rate with comfortable sleeping quarters in our new 800-sq. foot cabin.

Join us on a winter adventure. As well as wolf hunting, we'll be setting traps for all the various fur bearing animals, such as wolverine, lynx, fox, marten, weasel, and mink, so we'll be focusing on seven species.  We will get around with snowmobiles and snowshoes checking traps every day.  You will also see moose, caribou, goat and sheep in their natural winter habitat.
